We work with local businesses around Scotland to provide the freshest ingredients to incorporate into our seasonal menus, food outlets and events. Sustainability plays a key role throughout our supply chain. As a result, we only use MSC Certified fish and Red Tractor Assured meats in our dishes.

We cater for a number of dietary requirements at the Botanics, including Vegetarian, Gluten-Free, Dairy Free and even freshly prepared Vegan cakes by Zara our on-site baker. If you have a specific requirement, please speak to a member of our team and we will try our best to accommodate you.
As part of our plastic reduction initiative, we have eliminated plastic packaging across our food outlets where possible, and replaced them with plant-based disposables. The introduction of draft soft drink products has also helped us reach our goal of removing plastic packaging and drinks bottles across the Garden.
You can help us cut down on plastic by purchasing one of our re-usable coffee cups in the Terrace Cafe or East Gate Coffee Bar, and save 10p every time you use it!
In order to cut down on waste and help the environment, we recycle all our food waste, cardboard, bottles and plastics across our restaurants and cafes at the Botanics. Our Gateway Restaurant menus are printed on recycled paper, and are recycled after usage.
